When you make a PB&J sandwich, which do YOU put on first? (This is a "debate" with my husband. LOL!)

I wrote a follow-up comment on page 5.

First of all PB goes first. Second thank you for a cute, funny poll. Nobody arguing over vaccinations, gay marriage, or religion. Nobody ready to pull out a knife for anything other than a PB& J! Thank you!!!!

This is hysterical..gotta love it.  Has someone already asked how one puts toilet paper on the holder?  If not, I'm anxious to see if I've been doing it wrong all these years...over.

LMAO!! DH always put the tp on the roll the opposite way as I do and it drives me nuts, I switch it every time!! That would be another funny poll! :)

Well... If no one else will...

bluer777 ~ I'm so glad you're having fun with this one! PB&C sounds icky to me. (What kind of cheese?) PB&M does sound nasty!

I use just plain Kraft American Cheese. Sometimes I will just spread the peanut butter on the cheese and roll it up.

OK, on with the light hearted poll!!  Love it!  PB always comes first and I put jelly on the other slice of bread and really fresh, soft white bread is the best!  When we were trying to be healthier I tried wheat bread but after 2 or 3 tries, I had to go back to white!  Also, my Mom makes the best PB&J!!!  I am 48 and still love her PB&J!  There's just something about it and after all these years, I love the look she gets on her face when I request it!  I know none of us like to think about when our Moms won't be here with us and I tell her all the time I wish she could live forever and #1 reason - to make me PB&J

When sleepymom7 started this post and said it was a big debate in her house, it made me think back to when my husband and I first started dating and I made him a PB&J and he immediately let me know that I had really skimped on the amount of PB!!!  Now that was something I had never given much thought to except to attempt to get just the right amount of both like my Mom does.  So since then, his PB&J is known as outrageous and mine is respectable!!  lol  He puts an enormous amount of PB on one slice of bread - I always joke that he needs 2 slices of bread on one side to hold all his PB!!!

It was nice to sit here and think about PB&J memories...  Now I know what I'm having for lunch today!

If you put PB on first you risk getting PB in your jelly jar.  Yuck!

i've only skimmed the responses, but like many, i do pb first, wipe the knife on the other slice of bread, and stick it in the jelly jar... j in the pb = mold in the jar in the pantry! i also do this to help keep the bread from getting soggy too fast. (i'm generally making several at once!)

now... crunchy or creamy?
